Wyoming Stock Contractors, our Wyoming College Rodeo teams and our western heritage and way of life. New York Times best-selling author C.J. Box served as the emcee, while speakers included Team Wyoming saddle bronc rider Chet Johnson, Eastern Wyoming College student Brenna Herring and Governor Mark Gordon. WOT’s Global Partnerships team has had a busy couple of months rounding out this year selling the Wyoming experience to the domestic and international markets. Through stops in the United Kingdom and throughout the U.S., we have been on the go to promote Wyoming and our partners to all who will listen.

National Tour Association 2024 Travel Exchange
|
The NTA 2024 Trex took place November 17-20th in Huntsville, Alabama. The Wyoming Office of Tourism met with close to 30 tour operators to discuss new opportunities and itineraries to continue to showcase the absolute best of Western Hospitality. While the National Parks are always a big draw for motorcoach groups, this year saw a lot of questions and options to attend a rodeo out in the Cowboy State.

$5M Gift to UW Launches Jay Kemmerer WORTH Institute

The University of Wyoming recently announced the extraordinary donation of $5 million from Jay and Karen Kemmerer to elevate the Wyoming Outdoor Recreation, Tourism and Hospitality (WORTH) Initiative into an institute, advancing innovation, education and economic growth.
WOT is honored to be a part of this transformative initiative. Recognizing WORTH's potential to revolutionize Wyoming's tourism industry, WOT has invested significant resources in its development.

WOT is excited to announce the hiring of our newest team member, Sawyer Sweckard as our new Partner Activation Manager. Originally from Buffalo, Sawyer is a Wyoming native and recent graduate of the University of Wyoming. His understanding of customer relations and market segmentation, along with his drive and ambition, will contribute significantly to our organization, our partners and industry across Wyoming. We are looking forward to seeing Sawyer in this new role and are excited to see where he can take it.
